Young Lawyers Division
2012 Election Notice
The Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar is governed by a Board of Directors whose members are elected to staggered, two-terms by the active, in-state members of the Division. All members of the State Bar of New Mexico who have practiced law in any state for five years or less and those State Bar members who are under the age of thirty-six are members of the Division.

2013-2014 Region 2 Director - (First, Fourth, Eighth and Tenth Judicial Districts): Joachim Marjon
2013-2014 Region 4 Director - remains vacant
(Third, Sixth, and Twelfth Judicial Districts and Sierra County)
YLD Upcoming Board Vacancies
Per YLD Bylaws Article 5.2, the YLD board of directors will fill any vacant positions by appointment. Appointments will be made by the board in December 2012 for the vacancies occurring on Jan. 1, 2013. Anyone interested in applying for an appointment to the unfilled positions (Director-at-Large, Position 5 and Region 4 Director) must send a letter of interest and résumé to Samantha Hults, samanthahults33@gmail.com, no later than the close of business Nov. 16.
