Attorneys to Give Free Legal Help on Foreclosure in Albuquerque

 

Albuquerque, N.M. – Residents of Albuquerque and the surrounding area can attend a free foreclosure legal fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dec. 4, in the 3rd floor conference room at the Second Judicial District Court, 400 Lomas Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, 87102. Attorneys will be on hand to provide free consultations on a first-come, first-served basis for clients facing pre-foreclosure or foreclosure actions. Attendees do not have to be in foreclosure to attend this event. Attendees should bring all related paperwork with them to the clinic. Note that the court no longer allows cell phones in the building.

 

This event is being coordinated by the Second Judicial District Pro Bono Committee of the Access to Justice Commission. The New Mexico Commission on Access to Justice is a statewide body dedicated to expanding and improving civil legal assistance to New Mexicans living in poverty.
