Court Judges To Head Annual Bankruptcy Seminar
Albuquerque, N.M.—The 28th Annual Bankruptcy Year in Review will be held Friday, March 8 at the State Bar Center in Albuquerque. The State Bar of New Mexico’s Bankruptcy Law Section will co-sponsor this continuing legal education program for interested members of the legal community.
The seminar focuses on national and local developments in the case law on bankruptcy issues in 2012, with special emphasis on decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court, 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico. Also included will be presentations by the Hon. Robert H. Jacobvitz and the Hon. David T. Thuma; the Assistant U.S. Trustee for the District of New Mexico Ron E. Andazola; and the Clerk of the Court Norman H. Meyer Jr. A presentation regarding ethics and professionalism will be given by Shay Meagle, Alice Nystel Page, and David Kramer.
The Bankruptcy Law Section is an active group within the State Bar that works to create opportunities to educate both the public and the legal community about bankruptcy laws, trends, and national developments.
