Free Legal Workshop on Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
Albuquerque, N.M.—Residents of Las Cruces and the surrounding areas can attend a free workshop providing legal information for grandparents raising grandchildren from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 1, at La Clinica de Familia, 385 Calle de Alegra in Las Cruces. An attorney with Pegasus Legal Services for Children will present information about:
• Legal guardianship
• Public Benefits
• School Enrollment
• Child Protective Services
• Access to Health & Mental Health Care
This event is organized by Pegasus Legal Services for Children. Funding is provided by the New Mexico Department of Aging & Long Term Services.
