Medicaid the Focus of Legal Seminar
Albuquerque, N.M.—The State Bar of New Mexico Elder Law Section is sponsoring the upcoming 2012 Fall Elder Law Seminar which will discuss the ins and outs of Medicaid waiver programs, the impact of the Affordable Care Act, trusts and Medicaid planning and more. The continuing legal education program will be at the State Bar Center beginning at 8:30 a.m., Oct. 26.
Featured speakers are from Decisions in Care, Senior Cititzens Law Office, Disability Rights New Mexico, PACE and various local attorneys.
The Elder Law Section seeks to facilitate and improve the law and practice of law in areas of particular concern to the elderly, including preserving and enhancing the rights of physically and mentally challenged individuals with respect to care, housing and asset management and to lead, coordinate and serve as a coordinating agent and clearinghouse for the efforts of the various agencies involved in service to the elderly.
