Real Property Institute to Discuss Major Legislation
and Green Trends in New Mexico
Albuquerque, N.M. – The 2009 Real Property Institute will be held Dec. 4 at the State Bar Center in Albuquerque. The State Bar Real Property, Trust and Estate Section is sponsoring the continuing legal education event.
Topics to be discussed include updates on foreclosures and title insurance, recent cases, major legislation and 1031 exchanges. Green trends in New Mexico will be covered by the following panel: Dale Dekker, AIA, AICP, Architect, Dekker, Perich, Sabatini; Steve Maestas, Developer/Broker, Prime Properties, LLC and Maestas & Ward Commercial Real Estate; and Enrico Gradi, Planner, County of Bernalillo.
Local attorneys Linda Leyba, Leyba Law Firm, PC; Orlando Lucero, Stewart Title of Albuquerque; Cathy Goldberg and Margaret Romero, Rodey Dickason Sloan Akin & Robb PA; and Ed Roybal, Roibal Law Firm, PA complete the line up of speakers for the day.
