Stern v. Marshall Focus of Bankruptcy Seminar
Albuquerque, N.M.—Bankruptcy Jurisdiction in the Wake of Stern v. Marshall will be presented Aug. 10 at the State Bar Center in Albuquerque. The State Bar Bankruptcy Law Section will co-sponsor this continuing legal education program for interested members of the legal community.
United States Bankruptcy Judge Robert H. Jacobvitz will discuss Stern v. Marshall and the events leading up to that case. Gail Gottlieb and James A. Askew will present opposing views on the jurisdiction of bankruptcy courts.
The Bankruptcy Law Section is an active group within the State Bar that works to create opportunities to educate both the public and the legal community about bankruptcy laws, trends, and national developments.
