Continuing Legal Education
The CLE Committee is responsible for planning and organizing CLE courses sponsored by the State Bar of New Mexico and/or the Indian Law Section. The following CLE events are scheduled for 2011:
- On April 14th there will be an Indian Law 101 CLE at the State Bar Center.
- CLE at annual meeting July 15 or 16 (precise date TBA). Georgene Louis will be presenting on Indian Gaming.
- CLE in November at the Indian Law Section's annual meeting. Further details will be forthcoming.

Bar Preparation Scholarship
The Bar Preparation Scholarship was established to help defray the costs of bar examination application fees and preparation courses for third-year UNM law students who intend to take the New Mexico Bar and practice Indian Law.
