Second Judicial District Court - Volunteer Recogntion

 

On Thursday, April 25th, the Second Judicial District Pro Bono Committee hosted a volunteer appreciation reception to thank the attorneys, judges, civil legal service agencies, staff and other volunteers who supported pro bono legal services in the past year.  During the past two years, more than 3,500 low-income clients have been provided pro bono assistance in the Second Judicial District. 

Chief Justice Petra Jimenez Maes opened the reception to discuss pro bono activities and to thank the volunteers.  Committee co-chairs, Hon. Shannon C. Bacon and Hon. Alan Malott, also expressed their appreciation for the outstanding efforts of pro bono volunteers in the Second Judicial District.
