Complying With Disciplinary Board Rule 17-204
Using interactive polling software and mock trust transactions, this course will instruct participants on and test their knowledge of the fundamentals of attorney trust accounts in New Mexico, including (a) the proper operation of such accounts; (b) identification of records that must be maintained; (c) best and prohibited practices for operating a trust account and accepting retainers; (d) recording trust transactions in general and client ledgers; and (e) reconciling trust account ledgers with bank statements.  The course will take one hour and will include hands-on participation by attendees.

Please note: for remote-access programs, each registrant MUST access the program from individual devices (i.e. computer, table, mobile or office phone). Groups of attorneys who access a program together from one device will not receive credit.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. If you find you can no longer attend a program, please contact the CLE Department. We’d be happy to assist you by transferring your registration to a colleague or future CLE event. A full refund will be given to registrants who cancel 2 or more business days before the program date. Cancellation requests received within 1 day of the program will not be eligible for a refund, but the fees may be applied to a future CLE program offered in the same compliance year.

To request a refund, send an email to cleonline@nmbar.org. Include your name, bar ID, name and date of program, price and method of payment that was used to pay for the program.
