Attorney Anderson Chairs ABA Committee
Albuquerque, N.M. — State Bar President-Elect Erika E. Anderson has been appointed chair of the Trial Techniques Committee of the American Bar Association Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section. The committee consists of more than 2,500 attorney members from across the country, offering its membership a variety of ways to improve their trial advocacy skills including continuing legal education programs, newsletters, professional networking, and training materials.
Anderson is a civil litigation attorney at French & Associates, PC. She practices in the area of civil rights, personal injury, general tort liability, and employment. Anderson is the past president of the New Mexico Women’s Bar association, former chair of the Young Lawyers Division, and past president of the First Judicial District Bar Association.
The State Bar of New Mexico was organized in 1886 and is composed of more than 9,000 members. Its purposes are to aid the courts in administering justice and preserving the rule of law, and to foster a high standard of integrity and competence within the legal profession.
