Rourke Receives 2012 Justice Pamela B. Minzner

Outstanding Advocacy for Women Award

 

Albuquerque, N.M.— The Committee on Women and the Legal Profession announces that Elizabeth Rourke, legal director of Enlance Comunitario, is the recipient of the 2012 Justice Pamela B. Minzner Outstanding advocacy for Women Award.

 

The award recognizes attorneys who have distinguished themselves during the prior year by providing legal assistance to women who are underrepresented or underserved by advocating for causes that will benefit and further the rights of women. Rourke is being recognized for her legal advocacy in this area over the past year. More than one nomination was received on her behalf.

 

The Committee will hold a holiday reception and award ceremony in Rourke’s honor Thursday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sheraton Uptown Hotel, 2600 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque.
