Indian Law Section Awards

The Indian Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar is proud to announce our first annual Indian Law Section Achievement Award.  Our section includes some of the foremost Indian Law practitioners in the country.  These individuals have made important contributions to our profession and to our communities.  The Indian Law Section Achievement Award gives us an opportunity to recognize the amazing accomplishments of our members.  The winner will be announced at Indian Law Section’s annual CLE on November 7, 2013 and will be profiled in the Indian Law Section’s annual newsletter.

Any member of the Indian Law Section may submit a nomination by sending an email to Autumn Monteau at autumn.monteau@gmail.com.  The criteria are simple:  The nominee must be a member of the Indian Law Section, and the nomination must explain in one page or less the nature of the nominee’s extraordinary achievements in Indian Law and the nominee’s contributions to the community.   Nominations are due by Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.
