The 2019-2020 Contest is now open! Click the contest open tab above for details.

The State Bar of New Mexico Legal Services and Programs Committee invites all New Mexico high school students, grades 9-12, to participate in the annual Breaking Good Video Contest. The Contest provides students an opportunity to share their creative and artistic talents while learning about non-profit civil legal service providers in their community. Through their work, students will be able to help educate others about providers and the legal services made available to New Mexicans. Videos, judged by a panel of lawyers, judges and and local media arts representatives, will be evaluated according to content, originality, purpose, and production. Judges will evaluate the finalist videos, picking three winners.

The Rodey Law Firm is proud to sponsor the sixth annual Breaking Good Video Contest.

Nearly three decades before New Mexico achieved statehood, Bernard Rodey stepped off a train from Boston onto the hot and dusty streets of his destination: Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Rodey established his law practice in 1883. Little did he know he was on his way to creating what would become one of New Mexico's oldest, largest and most highly respected firms. Today, the Rodey Law Firm is home to more than 65 lawyers and over 70 support professionals working to make a difference in the lives of their clients.
