Indian Law 2016: What Indian Law Practitioners Need To Know

This program will provide an overview of recent federal, state, and tribal cases for Indian law practitioners. It will also include legislative and policy updates, New Mexico Rules of Professional Responsibility, practitioners can successfully follow to represent their clients in Indian Nation courts and the role of the attorney’s ethical obligations in prosecuting and defending Native American defendants in federal court.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. If you find you can no longer attend a program, please contact the CLE Department. We’d be happy to assist you by transferring your registration to a colleague or future CLE event. A full refund will be given to registrants who cancel 2 or more business days before the program date. Cancellation requests received within 1 day of the program will not be eligible for a refund, but the fees may be applied to a future CLE program offered in the same compliance year.

To request a refund, send an email to cleonline@nmbar.org. Include your name, bar ID, name and date of program, price and method of payment that was used to pay for the program.
